Short version: Worms in a Box is a fully offline puzzle game. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. All gameplay progress is stored only on your device. No analytics, no ads, no third-party tracking.
1. Who we are
This application ("the App") is developed and published by Vitalya Kvas ("we", "us", "the developer"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
2. Information we collect
The App does not collect any personal information. We do not ask for, access, or transmit:
- your name, email, phone number, or any contact information;
- your location;
- your contacts, photos, files, or any other content stored on your device;
- any device identifiers such as advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address, or similar;
- usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind.
3. Information stored locally on your device
To remember your progress between sessions, the App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- the highest level you have completed;
- your sound and music volume preferences;
- visual theme / appearance settings.
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. You can erase it at any time from within the App (Settings → Reset progress) or by uninstalling the App.
4. Network usage
The App functions entirely offline. It does not connect to the internet, does not communicate with any server, and does not download or upload any content during normal use.
5. Advertising
The App contains no advertisements and does not integrate with any advertising networks.
6. Third-party services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect or transmit user data (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Facebook SDK, no advertising SDKs, etc.).
The App may be distributed through stores such as Google Play. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and may collect information about app installations independently of the App itself. Please refer to the platform's privacy policy for details.
7. Permissions
The App does not request runtime permissions beyond what is required to display the game on your screen.
8. Children's privacy
The App is suitable for all audiences, including children. Because the App does not collect any personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policy by virtue of not collecting personal data at all.
9. Security
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, there are no servers or databases where your information could be exposed. Locally stored progress data is protected by the standard sandboxing provided by your device's operating system.
10. Your rights
Because the App stores no personal data on our side, there is no data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove all data the App has stored locally on your device, either use the "Reset progress" option inside the App or uninstall the App.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
